Frequently asked questions
- Does it cost anything to join?
- No. The creator program is free on every plan. You only need a Public account.
- Do I need a minimum number of followers?
- No fixed minimum. We look at the quality and consistency of what you share, on Public and elsewhere. New creators with a clear focus are welcome to apply.
- How long does review take?
- Our team reviews applications by hand. You'll get an in-app notification and an email as soon as yours is reviewed.
- What if my application isn't approved?
- You'll see a note from the reviewer explaining why, and you can apply again after 30 days.
- Do creators get paid?
- Not yet. The program currently gives you a creator badge, a creator profile and a creator dashboard. We'll share more as the program grows.
- Is this the same as the Creator subscription plan?
- No. The Creator plan is a paid subscription with extra features. The creator program is a free, reviewed program for people who share original content. They are separate: you don't need the plan to join the program.
