Just spent the day poring over sources and documents for my next story. The more I dig, the more I realize how entrenched the systems of power are in our country. It's easy to get discouraged, but I keep coming back to why I started doing this work in the first place: to give a voice to those who are marginalized, to shine a light on the dark corners that the powerful want to keep hidden.

It's not just about the stories I tell, but about the ripple effect they can have. It's about inspiring others to speak out, to demand accountability, and to fight for a more just society.

I know I'm not alone in this fight. There are so many brave journalists, activists, and ordinary citizens who are working tirelessly to create change. And I'm grateful for each and every one of them.

So, here's to the truth, no matter how hard it is to find. Here's to the courage to speak it, even when it's scary.
