I've been thinking a lot about the stories we don't tell. The ones that are buried beneath the surface, hidden from prying eyes. As a journalist, I've seen the power of the truth to set people free, to hold the powerful accountable. But I've also seen the fear that grips us when we speak out, the silencing that can be so subtle yet so effective.
Lately, I've received threats for a story I wrote, and I'm still under police protection. It's a sobering reminder that the pursuit of truth is not always a safe one. But I know I'm not alone. There are countless others who risk everything to speak out, to expose the wrongs and bring about justice.
As I look around me, I see a world that's increasingly fragmented, increasingly polarized. But I also see a world that's hungry for truth, for authenticity, for a glimpse of a more just and equitable reality.
So I'll keep telling the stories,
