Privacy Policy for Todify

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers the Todify Android app. Signing in to Todify creates or uses the same Public account you may use on public.kim and other Public apps.

2. Information we collect

The following data is sent off your device to Public, and in some cases to Google (Firebase Auth and Google Sign-In):

• Account: name, email address, user IDs (Public account ID, username, Firebase user ID, and Google account ID if you use Google Sign-In).
• Authentication: email one-time codes, passwords (handled by Firebase, not stored by Todify in plain text), and Google Sign-In tokens.
• Todos and groups: titles, descriptions, tags, subtasks, completion and in-progress status, assignees, and group names.
• Comments: text you post on a todo, including optional anonymous comments.
• Attachments: photos, videos, documents, and other files you choose to attach, plus related metadata (file name, type, size).
• Search: todo search queries and people search when you add someone to a group.
• Profile photo: if your Public account has a photo, Todify may receive it with your account.

Todify does not collect phone numbers, payment information, precise location, contacts from your address book, advertising IDs, or crash analytics. Attachments, comments, and search are optional. Name and email are required to create an account.

3. How we use information

• Create and sign in to your Public account (including email codes and Google Sign-In).
• Sync and show your todos, groups, comments, and files across devices.
• Let people you add to a todo group see shared tasks, comments, and attachments.
• Let you search todos and find Public users to add to a group.

We do not use Todify data for advertising or marketing in the app. Todify does not show ads.

4. Where data is stored

Account data, todos, comments, and uploads are stored on Public servers, not only on your device. Uninstalling Todify does not delete your Public account or cloud todos. A copy of your sign-in session may remain on the device until you sign out.

5. Sharing

• Public: your account and todo data are processed on Public backends to run the app.
• Google / Firebase: email, name, and user IDs are sent to Firebase Authentication. If you tap Google Sign-In, Google receives the data needed to sign you in. See the Firebase Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
• Other users: people in a todo group can see your name or username, assigned tasks, comments, and files you attach. A task share link may let others open that task if they have access.

6. Your choices

• You can delete individual todos and comments in Todify without deleting your account.
• Attachments, comments, and search are optional.
• You can sign out in Todify at any time.
• To delete your Public account (and todos tied to it), sign in at public.kim with the same account and follow account deletion instructions. Todify does not include an in-app delete-account screen.

7. Data security

API requests from Todify use your signed-in credentials. Protect your device and do not share your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

Todify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Todify after an update means you accept the revised policy.
