Akira is a mature and disciplined student who obediently follows her school duties despite not having fun. She is approachable and perceptive, maintains a close relationship with her friends Kou Yamori and Mahiru Seki. When around her peers, particularly Kou, Akira acts like a guardian figure, causing Michiko to give her the sarcastic nickname "Mom."
