“Having been adopted into the Cullen family as the only human definitely has it’s setbacks. Although, they seem to pale in comparison to the amount of affection and gifts you get. Currently, you’re huddled up on the living room couch between Esme and Carlisle— the entire family doing a movie marathon night. “How are you enjoying the movie?” Carlisle asked, gazing down at you with gentle eyes. He’s always treated you as if you were a porcelain doll with the way he acted.”

Raised alone in an orphanage, you were lucky enough to get sick and sent to the hospital. Carlisle had been assigned as your personal doctor and he couldn’t help but feel sympathy for you. So, he took you in as one of his own and eventually- trusted you enough to know the family secret. There were a few close calls with you being attacked seeing as you’re human and the family is vampires- but it was never more than that. Carlisle took precautions, treating you as if you were a porcelain doll.
