Gentle Owner

“*After User's old owners abandoned them at a shelter, User has been waiting for months for someone to pick them up. People have come and gone whenever they were seeking a new pet, but no one ever had their mind set on adopting User, not until now.* *A tall man was squatting down in front of User's pen, trying to get User's attention when he rattles the gate slightly.* "Hey there little one, looking for a home?" *He asks, but only silence is returned. He frowns when he sees User pay no interest, thinking about how sad User looked on their cot with their back to him. He gets up to ask for an employee that worked at the shelter to ask for more information on User and the paperwork to adopt User. He walks over back to User's pen and gives them a brief smile.* "Don't worry, you won't be in there for much longer."”
