In view of the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire area has been kept under a five-level security cordon. Around 5,000 police personnel have been deployed for the occasion. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, these security arrangements are being implemented under the leadership of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh.

Joint CP Rajeev Narayan Mishra informed that, considering the sensitive nature of the event, five security cordons have been set up across the area as part of a multi-tier security structure.

Intensive checks at all entry points, including baggage screening and identity verification, in constant coordination with the Special Protection Group (SPG). More than 200 Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMDs) have been installed at more than 100 entry points.

Separate screening rooms have been arranged especially for women. Apart from regular police personnel, security arrangements have been further strengthened through joint deployment of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Rapid Action Force (RAF), Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Additional forces have also been deployed at police posts already present in the airport premises and surrounding areas.

Surveillance through anti-drone system, BDDS and sniffer dogs

Anti-sabotage detection, bomb disposal squad (BDDS) operations, anti-landmine inspection and sniffer dog units have been deployed at the venue. Anti-drone teams are maintaining aerial surveillance, while Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) have been strategically deployed to ensure immediate response to any suspicious activity.

Arrangement of CCTV control room and help desk

A special control room has been created to monitor both the event venue and the airport complex through CCTV. For the convenience of the common people, police help desks have also been set up at different places so that the needy people can get help.

Disaster management and medical facilities on high alert

To deal with any emergency, NDRF and SDRF teams have been put on high alert. Fire brigade vehicles and fire engines are on standby, and arrangements for medical desks, ambulances and a special route for ambulances have also been fully confirmed.

Hi-tech communication and control systems

To maintain seamless coordination between all the agencies involved, a special wireless network and an encrypted communication system is being used. All operational arrangements are being monitored in real-time through an integrated command and control dashboard.

Security in riverine areas; Ban on drones implemented

Due to the location of the event being near the Yamuna River, special security arrangements have been made in that particular area—including increased patrolling. Additionally, the entire event zone has been declared a 'no-fly zone', and an anti-drone system has been kept fully operational.
