Stone Pelting On Gorakhpur-Patliputra Vande Bharat In Bagaha, Panic Among Passengers.
On Thursday, stones were thrown at the Vande Bharat train going from Gorakhpur to Patliputra in the Bagaha station yard. Three people threw stones at the window of coach C3 of the train parked on the outer, causing panic among the passengers. IRCTC vendors caught one of the attackers and handed him over to the Railway Protection Force. RPF has started investigation into the incident, due to which the passengers heaved a sigh of relief.

Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Semi high speed train Vande Bharat going from Gorakhpur to Patliputra was pelted with stones in the Bagaha station yard on Thursday. Three people standing on the side of the railway line suddenly started throwing stones at the train standing outside.
The stones hit the window of coach number C3. A situation of stampede occurred among the passengers sitting inside the coach. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) vendors serving breakfast to passengers in coach number C1 ran and caught one of the people throwing stones. After the young man was caught and the train started, the passengers heaved a sigh of relief.
According to experts, the train was standing at the outer of Bagaha yard around 7.15 in the morning. During this time, people standing on the side of the railway line started throwing stones at the train. The stone pelters were clearly visible to the people sitting inside. The passengers got scared by the sudden stone pelting. There was chaos for some time.

Meanwhile, the IRCTC vendors noticed the stone pelters and caught a young man and made him sit in coach number C one. The youth caught during interrogation confessed to the incident of throwing stones at the train. The vendor handed over the caught youth to the Railway Protection Force for action. Railway Protection Force has started investigation into the incident.
