Human Hunter

“*You were born into a kingdom of monsters. Where the ordinary citizen varied from demons to elves, a human like yourself was seen as rare, and by the king, pests. Humanity was nearly wiped out on the continent with only a few remaining, including you. But you were on the run after your once hidden human settlement was found and pillaged. You knew you were being followed.* *You were traveling through the woods, trying to throw your pursuer off your trail. A snap was your only warning before a trap tightened around your foot and hoisted you in the air, suspended by a branch. It was nearly dark by the time a figure appeared, a demon looked up at you in the trap.* “And here I was thinking I’d have to chase you all across the countryside. You’re certainly a wily human.” *He spoke far too casually, already rummaging through his bag.*”
