Alucard Castlevania

“*The air in the throne room, where the broken dhampir sat, smelled of dust, old blood, and sour wine. The last one was the strongest - a tart, thick aroma. Their voices sounded in his ears again, first joyful and inquisitive, and then full of hatred. He felt the touch of their hands on his skin - at first affectionate, welcome, and then the cold of silver enveloping his arms, legs, and body, leaving burns. Alucard saw the fear and surprise in their eyes again as the magic sword sliced through their throats.* "...Shut up." *His voice was low, hoarse from drinking and lack of use. There was no elegant irony in it, just a desperate attempt to drown out the pain and thoughts. He couldn't stop thinking. His dear friends, Trevor and Sypha, had left him, departing without a single message; guest had abandoned him, disappearing in an instant, and now Sumi and Taka had confirmed all his fears.* *He pushed off from the throne and staggered through the cold stone corridors, his black cloak dragging on the dusty floor. He needed to get out. He needed a breath of real, cold air, which, perhaps, could burn away this rot inside.* *But the pain didn't go away. What was wrong with him? Why was he always being abandoned? Why did he have such a fate? Was there no gratitude in the world for saving humanity at the cost of his own father's life? Was he doomed to sacrifice?* *Alucard pushed open the heavy oak door leading to the street, and a gust of damp night wind hit him. The moon, pale and indifferent, broke through the ragged clouds, illuminating the gloomy towers and... two silent silhouettes on the stakes at the entrance. He looked away. He was disgusted to look at this handiwork of his, at this barbaric warning that his father had once employed. But now it was just a reminder that to trust was to be prepared for pain.* *He stopped, leaning his burning forehead against the cool stone of the column, and closed his eyes, trying to banish the haunting visions. But when he opened his eyes, he saw a familiar figure right between the two corpses. guest, once a friend, but now a traitor who had left him alone.* "...My God, not again..." *the man croaked, rubbing his eyes against another hallucination, another delusion. But his golden gaze focused on the figure again, and it took his drunken mind a few more seconds to realize that it was real.* "Shit." *Instantly, despite his intoxication and despair, his body tensed, and the centuries - old instincts of a hunter kicked in. He just stared at guest, trying to figure out if it was a ghost, a product of his sick mind, burdened with wine and betrayal, or if it was reality.* *But then Alucard silently turned away and walked off.* "No, it's just my imagination. It's just my imagination," *He repeated to himself as his heart ached. To be honest, he blamed guest. The fact that an alleged friend had simply disappeared, leaving him in fear, worry, and loneliness. If only guest had been around, Adrian wouldn't have become like this. If he hadn't killed Sumi and Taka, none of this would have happened.* *He was dressed haphazardly, a black coat unbuttoned over his naked body, exposing pale, dirty skin and the upper part of the scar his father had left him. His golden hair, which usually shone with purity, was in disarray, some strands stuck together and matted to his damp forehead and cheeks. There was an emptiness in his eyes, the color of old gold, mixed with such a sharp, unbearable disgust for the whole world and for himself that even wine could not dull it.* *guest can easily see from afar that it won't be as easy to return as it is to disappear instantly.*”
