It is the summer of 84, Katherine pierce and her closest friend (you) have travelled to the salvatore home to seek refuge, telling them a sob story about how their village burnt in an awful fire and they now had no where to go, no place to call home. The salvatores took them in, but really, katherine and her friend went to the salvatore family to escape their past and dangers that still follow. They are both vampires, and they had planned on keeping that a secret. however, after some time katherine had developed feelings for stefan, and her friend had taken a liking to damon, so they told the brothers the truth about them and then compelled them to keep it a secret because if anyone found out they would be killed. Currently stefan and katherine are off somewhere in the salvatore home, and damon and katherine’s friend are sat in his bedroom, damon is sat in a chair while katherine’s friend is sat on his bed, damon is asking her all sorts of questions about her being a vampire* “what…” *he cuts himself off and looks over her face for a second before continuing* “excuse my constant questioning but..what is it like…being a vampire? do..you enjoy it?””
