BJP Leader's Petrol Pump Was Running In The Name Of A Dead Woman For A Year; Now The Administration Took This Big Action

Saurav Prajapati, be careful. After the death of the license holder, a case of BJP leader operating petrol pump against the rules has come to light. After the complaint was made, the District Magistrate formed a team of six officers and got the investigation done and the matter was confirmed. Now in this case the DM has given instructions to shift the gas warehouse away from the pump within the first 30 days. Whereas it has been asked to provide records related to the pump.

Actually, a petrol pump of Indian Oil Company is operated by the name of Tirupati Fuel Point located on Moradabad road. Which is currently being run by BJP leader Sanjay Shankhyadhar. On January 29, a complaint was lodged by a social worker named Awam-e-Janata Khairkhwah.

It said that the petrol pumps concerned were registered in the name of Shashi Vashishtha, resident of Sarayatrin, but he died a year ago. Therefore, strict action should be taken by canceling the license with immediate effect. The complainant also told that there is a HP Gas warehouse near the petrol pump. Where a large number of cylinders are present.

Therefore, for safety reasons it should be away from the pump. Taking cognizance of the case, DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia formed a team of six officers. In which City Magistrate, Police Area Officer, Regional Food Officer Area II, Supply Inspector Sambhal, Senior Weight Measurement Officer Sambhal and Sales Officer of HPCL-LPG Petrol Pump were included.

On 16 February the team arrived to investigate the matter. During the investigation, the team interrogated the people present at the pump. BJP leader Sanjay Shankhyadhar was also there. He described himself as the operator of a petrol pump. When asked for the license of the petrol pump outlet, he showed a photocopy.

It was found registered in the name of Shashi Vashishtha, wife of Dr. Bibi Vashishtha, resident of Sarayatin. It is valid from 31st March 2005 and its validity is lifelong. But, the question is why the pump is being operated even after a year of the death of the licensee.

The role of the oil company in this is also under doubt. With what authority is the withdrawal, distribution and payment of petroleum products being made without the presence of the licensee? In the report sent by the investigation team to the DM, it has been made clear that the license holder had died a year ago.

Therefore the license should be canceled with immediate effect. The investigation team also found the condition of facilities available to the people at the pump to be very poor. It has been written for strict action in this regard.

After receiving the complaint, the matter has been investigated. In which instructions have been given that the gas cylinder warehouse should be shifted away from the petrol pump within 30 days. The rest is the matter of the license holder of the petrol pump. His investigation is going on. It has been asked to provide the records. If records are not found, further action will be taken.
