Jagran correspondent, Patna. This time, the special team of Patna Police, engaged in breaking drug smuggling and its chain in the capital, raided Alamganj and Khemnichak of Ramakrishna Nagar and seized a huge quantity of smack, heroin, ganja and drug injections from there.
Two people have been arrested from the spot, one of whom is said to be from Samastipur. Along with this, a pistol, bullet and cash have been recovered. The weight of the recovered drug is said to be more than 20 kg, which is said to be the biggest recovery so far.
The police is busy raiding in search of other smugglers involved in the gang. However, police officers are still avoiding saying anything in this matter. Police can share detailed details of this case on Saturday.
Arrested with 4.846 kg heroin and smack
If sources are to be believed, the District Intelligence Unit of Patna Police had arrested Kallu Paswan with 4.846 kg of heroin and smack from Khagaul police station area a few days ago. This action was taken after the recovery of drugs from Ramakrishna Nagar area. Input was received that smack and heroin are being smuggled from some other places.
After verification of information, the police raided a flat near the Iron Factory located on the road leading to Biskoman Golambar Agamkuan Shitala Mata Mandir road in Alamganj police station area, a smuggler was arrested from there and six hundred bags of brown sugar were recovered from him. Its weight is said to be around one kilogram.
Consignment of smack and other drugs in the room
During his interrogation, it was revealed that there was a consignment of smack and other drugs in the room of a house located in Khemnichak, Ramakrishnanagar. On his tip, police reached Khemnichak's hideout.
Another accused was caught from there. When the room was searched, several bag packets containing drugs, a pistol, bullets and cash were seized. The maximum quantity in it is heroin and smack.
