Rammay Ranchi On Ram Navami: Hemant Seen With Mace, Worshiped In Tapovan Temple With Wife Kalpana
There is an atmosphere of devotion and enthusiasm on the occasion of Ram Navami in Ranchi. Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state by offering prayers at the Tapovan Ram temple. Grand processions are taking place in the city, in which youth are performing traditional stunts. The entire city is echoing with the slogan of 'Jai Shri Ram'. Strict security arrangements have been made to ensure a peaceful event.

State Bureau, Ranchi. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, a unique confluence of devotion and enthusiasm is being seen in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. On the birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife cum Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren reached the historical Tapovan Ram temple located in Nivaranpur and offered prayers.
Here the Chief Minister bowed at the feet of Lord Ram, Mata Janaki and Hanuman ji and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and peace of the state. There is a lot of fun in Akharas across the state. In the pictures the Chief Minister was also seen carrying a sword and mace.
CM's grand welcome at Tapovan temple
On the Chief Minister's arrival at the temple, temple committee officials and devotees welcomed him in a traditional manner. The Chief Minister duly participated in the Aarti and accepted the greetings of the people present in the temple premises.
MLA Kalpana Soren also met the women devotees on this occasion and wished them for the great festival. The Chief Minister said in his message that this festival inspires truth, justice and living a dignified life.
Flood of processions in the capital
Ranchi's Ram Navami is famous across the country for its grandeur and huge Mahaviri flags. Since afternoon, processions have started coming out from various Akharas of the city.
The district administration has made strict security arrangements to ensure that the festival is conducted peacefully. Thousands of police forces have been deployed across the city. Main routes and sensitive areas are being monitored through drone cameras.
Also, every activity is being monitored from the control room with the help of CCTV cameras. Extensive changes have also been made in the traffic routes for the convenience of the devotees.
