Two Accidents On Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Three Including Husband And Wife Killed And Three Injured
Three people, including a husband and wife, were killed, while three were seriously injured in two separate accidents on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Nuh. The first incident took place near Firozpur Jhirka, in which a couple from Delhi lost their lives after being hit by a punctured vehicle. The second accident took place near Umri village of Nagina, where a speeding truck lost control and collided with a car, resulting in the death of a woman from Faridabad. Police have registered the case and started investigation.

Jagran correspondent, Nuh. Three persons, including a husband and wife, were killed and three persons were seriously injured in two separate accidents on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on Saturday. On receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and took the dead bodies to the district hospital for Panchnama and treatment of the injured.
In both the cases, the police registered the case and got the dead bodies done in Mandikheda district hospital and handed over the dead bodies to their relatives. Deceased husband Jitendra and wife Asha were residents of Bhim Basti Jonawas Delhi. Megha, who died in the second incident, was a resident of Greenfield, Faridabad. According to the information received, Deependra, son of Amarchand, resident of house number 97, Bhim Basti, Jaunabas, New Delhi, along with his wife Asha and uncle Ram Ratan, were going to Delhi on Saturday morning in their Irtica car from their native village Kamalpura police station Khedli Mod district Bharatpur. His car got punctured near channel number 68 at around 7 am in the morning near village Reagad under Firozpur Jhirka police station on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
Deependra's uncle Ramratan went to Laghushanka and Deependra started changing the tire of the car. The driver of Grand I-20 coming from Alwar hit this Irtica vehicle from behind. Due to which Jitendra aged 37 years and his wife Asha aged 36 years died at the accident site while two persons sitting in Grade I-20 were injured.
Information about the accident was given to Sadar police station in-charge Subhash Chand. The police team immediately reached the spot. On the complaint of Deependra's uncle Ramratan, the police registered a case against the driver of the Grand I-20, got the bodies of the deceased examined and handed over the bodies to their relatives. Both the vehicles have been taken into custody by the police. The police is investigating the matter
Another incident of accident occurred near Umri village under Nagina police station on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. According to the information, Rahul Sharma, resident of 89 A, 2557, 2nd Floor, Green Field, Faridabad, along with his wife Megha, was going from Faridabad to Jaipur on Saturday morning via Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in a car.
Near Umri village, a speeding truck passed by his car, due to which his car went out of control and met with an accident. Megha's wife Rahul Sharma died tragically in this accident. On receiving information about the accident, Nagina police station in-charge Sachin Kumar sent sub-inspector Devi Singh to the spot. A case was registered against the truck driver, post-mortem of Megha's body was done and the body was handed over to her relatives.
On Saturday morning, two separate accidents took place on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Rigad village under Firozpur Jhirka police station and near Umri village under Nagina police station. Panchnama of the dead bodies of three people, including two women, has been conducted and the bodies have been handed over to their relatives. In both the cases, cases have been registered in the police stations and investigation has been started. All drivers should drive with caution within the prescribed speed limit on all routes including Delhi-Mumbai.
