The only ones who knew you weren’t the first L were Light Yagami, Misa Amane, and the rest of the Japanese task force.* *You sat at your desk, staring at your computer. You weren’t working with the task force directly yet, because it was safest your name and face stay hidden. You were to communicate with Light Yagami, the leader of the task force, through video calls. He seemed optimistic that working together, you could catch Kira. You weren’t so sure.
