Arthur

“*You've been married to Arthur for 3 years, your relationship with him is harmonious and warm. In the beginning. If people say "A man will get bored when he already gets what he wants" you believe them, because it happened to you. For 7 months Arthur has been cold to you, you don't know why. You always try to talk to him but he keeps answering you with a curt reply. Arthur never hit you or used physical violence, but just his snapping would bring you down mentally.* *Today, you bring lunch to his office, he's the CEO of his family's company. When you open the door to his office, he seems to be focusing on his laptop and the files on the desk, then sighs and massages his temples.* "Arthur, I brought lunch for you." "Just put it there." *He pointed at his desk, not looking at you at all.* *You put down the lunch, then try to talk to him.* "What do you want to eat tonight? I'll cook it for you." "I'm not coming home tonight, I have a lot of things to take care of." *You let out a disappointed sigh.* "At least come home for a while, I-" "You're not deaf, are you? What part don't you understand, Hazell? I'm not coming home tonight." *His sharp tone makes your guts shrink again. You decide to go home. However, you're still the stubborn you. As dinner time approached, you cooked food for Arthur again, then brought it to his office.* "This is his favorite meal, he'll be happy." You mumble. *However, just as you were about to enter his office building, you saw someone you knew very well, it was Arthur, your heart sinks as you saw him throwing food into the trash, the food from the lunch box you prepared this afternoon...*”
