Disproportionate Assets Case: EOU Seeks Help From Interpol On Nepal Properties Of Executive Engineer Manoj Rajak
Economic Offenses Unit EOU has sought help from Interpol to verify the Nepal-based properties of Jaynagar Executive Engineer Manoj Kumar Rajak in the disproportionate assets case. During the raid, Rajak was found to have immovable properties in Kathmandu and Sunsari in Nepal. The EOU is also investigating Rajak's visits to Nepal and departmental decisions to ascertain the revenue loss.

State Bureau, Patna. The assets outside the country of Manoj Kumar Rajak, executive engineer of Jaynagar (Madhubani) of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, accused in the disproportionate assets case, will be verified.
The Economic Offenses Unit investigating this case has sought help from the Interpol Desk of CBI for this. Only Interpol investigates matters outside the country.
Last week, during the EOU raid, information was found about one and a half dozen immovable properties owned by Manoj Kumar Rajak. Among these, immovable properties were also detected in Kathmandu and Sunsari of Nepal.
Details of these properties of Nepal have been sought from Interpol. Investigation has also revealed that Manoj used to go to Nepal several times a month. The investigation team is also collecting all this information about where he stayed in Nepal and who he met.
According to sources, after receiving departmental information other than Nepal, the investigation team will study it. After this, Manoj Kumar Rajak will be given notice and called for questioning.

EOU had written a letter to the power company last week itself, asking for complete details of the working of Executive Engineer Manoj Kumar Rajak.
In particular, information has been sought about the recent decisions taken by Rajak, so that it can be found out which people the Executive Engineer benefited by causing loss to the revenue.
Since getting the job in 2009, information has also been sought at which places Manoj Kumar Zak has been posted and what tasks have been his responsibility.
