Jagran correspondent, Srinagar. The second phase of the budget session of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly started from today. This session, which will run till April 4, has started with a lot of uproar. As soon as the House proceedings began, there was a heated exchange between the ruling National Conference (NC) and the opposition party BJP, due to which the atmosphere in the House became tense.
NC MLAs raised slogans inside the Assembly protesting against the death of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the US-Israel vs Iran conflict.
National Conference MLA Tanveer Sadiq put up a poster of Ayatollah Khamenei in the House, which was strongly opposed by BJP MLAs. Not only this, NC MLAs also raised slogans like 'Down with Israel' and 'Stop American terrorism' in the Assembly.
