PTI, Kalaburagi. A horrifying incident has come to light in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, which has shocked people.
Here, due to a family dispute, a 28-year-old woman was murdered by her husband by slitting her throat in the middle of the road. The woman Saanvi was a resident of Maharashtra.
Videos of the incident recorded by local people on mobile phones are circulating online. In the video, accused Akshay is shown attacking the woman openly.
The incident occurred near Ballurgi village in Afzalpur taluka of Kalaburagi district. According to the police, the accused forced his wife into the car, forced her to get off the road and slit her throat.
Saanvi, who is heard screaming in the video, died on the spot. The accused fled from the spot in the car.
Police said that a case of murder has been registered at Afzalpur police station and efforts are on to nab the accused.
