Malda Division Gets Shield From GM For Enthusiasm Of Railway Workers, Honor For Excellence In Train Operations
Milind Deuskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway, awarded the Shield to Malda Division for better operation of trains and freight movement in 2024-25. The award reached Bhagalpur station by Malda Town Express, where station superintendent Vinay Prakash showed it to the railway personnel. The shield will be rotated across all the stations in the division to motivate the employees and appreciate their excellent performance. This initiative will increase enthusiasm among the employees.
Malda Division honored by GM for excellent operation of trains
Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. General Manager (GM) of Eastern Railway, Milind Deuskar honored Malda Division with a medal (shield) for its better performance in the operation of trains and freight loading in the year 2024-25. This shield will now be shown to the railway personnel by going around all the railway stations of Malda division.
Shield handing over process
The honor reached Bhagalpur station through Malda Town Express on Friday. The train guard handed it over to station superintendent Vinay Prakash. The station superintendent paraded the shield around the station premises and showed it to all the railway personnel. During this, railway workers also got photographs taken with the shield.
Award for best performance
Station Superintendent Vinay Prakash said that in the year 2024-25, Malda Division demonstrated remarkable performance in timely operation of trains and freight loading. For this reason, GM honored this division through a shield.
The shield will be rotated in the circle
This shield will be rotated in all the railway stations of Malda division one by one, so that all the railway personnel can see this achievement and get inspired. Station Superintendent said that this initiative has been taken to increase enthusiasm and responsibility among the employees.
On Saturday, this shield will be sent from Bhagalpur to Godda, where it will be shown to the local station employees. This shield will work to boost the morale of the employees and motivate them for better services.
