Digital Desk, New Delhi. Iran on Friday alleged that joint forces of the US and Israel attacked two of its major nuclear facilities.

The attacks targeted the Shahid Khondab Heavy Water Complex in the Arak region of central Iran and a yellowcake production plant in Ardakan in Yazd province. Iranian officials confirmed that the attacks caused no casualties and caused no radioactive leakage.

According to Iranian state media (IRNA and Fars News Agency), the attacks came hours after Israel threatened to intensify and expand its military campaign against Tehran.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said both facilities were attacked in two phases, but despite structural damage, safety systems remained active and no radiation leaked.

At the same time, Tehran has rejected America's 15-point ceasefire proposal, which also includes the condition of giving up control over the strategic waterway, through which about one-fifth of the global oil supply passes. Also, according to reports, it has deployed thousands of additional soldiers in the region.
