Jagran correspondent, Medininagar (Palamu). ‘Back to School’ campaign will be started from April 15 to ensure 100% enrollment of students in government schools across Jharkhand including Palamu. The main objective of this campaign is to identify the children who are out of school and are regularly absent and connect them back to school.

Under the campaign, a list of out-of-school and dropout children will be prepared in the feeder areas of all schools. Along with this, the parents of the children who have not been promoted to the next class will be contacted and motivated to re-enrol.

Principals of middle, high and plus two schools have been given the responsibility of increasing enrolment. Teachers and administration will jointly contact parents and try to enroll unenrolled children in school. The aim of the campaign is that no child in the state is deprived of education and everyone can be connected to school.

‘No Bag Day’ on 27th April

Under the campaign, 'No Bag Day' will be celebrated in all the schools of the district on 27th April. Kitchen garden, gardening and other creative activities will be organized for children on this day. Children enrolled for the new academic session 2026-27 will be given a special welcome in schools on 29 and 30 April. Also, children and their parents with 100% attendance will be honored.

Enrollment of five year old children of Anganwadi centers in primary schools will be ensured. At the same time, the headmasters of secondary schools will contact the nearby primary schools and prepare a list of children deprived of enrollment and will try to add them to the school.

Apart from this, girl students will be motivated to participate in quizzes, debates, slogans, posters, banners, wall writing and project work on topics like water conservation, water pollution and water conservation.
