Gas Supply Back On Track In Dehradun, More Than 16 Thousand Cylinders Distributed Under Strict Surveillance

The district administration is active in maintaining smooth LPG gas supply in Dehradun. Despite increasing demand, more than 16 thousand cylinders were delivered to domestic consumers on Thursday, while commercial supply also remained regular. Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. The district administration has intensified monitoring to maintain the smooth supply of LPG gas in the district.

Amid increasing demand, cylinders were delivered to more than 16 thousand domestic consumers on Thursday, while regular supply continued to commercial consumers also. To ensure that there is no hindrance in the distribution system, QRT teams formed area wise inspected the gas agencies.

Stock of 34,861 domestic cylinders

According to the district administration, gas cylinders were made available to 16,511 domestic consumers throughout the day, while cylinders were also distributed to 153 commercial consumers. At present, stock of 34,861 domestic cylinders and 1,422 commercial cylinders is available in the district.

According to officials, the load of domestic as well as commercial LPG cylinders is being continuously increased as per the demand. QRT teams formed on the instructions of District Magistrate Savin Bansal reached various gas agencies and reviewed the status of stock, delivery and demand. The administration says that gas agencies are being continuously monitored to ensure home delivery arrangements and regular supply.

A total of 15 complaints were registered on the control room number 1077, 0135-2626066, 0135-2726066 and WhatsApp number 7534826066 for complaints related to gas supply, on which the District Supply Department took immediate action.
