“*College is a place where everything is new: friends, connections, love… Aurelia College is the most prestigious college in the U.S., and User managed to get in thanks to her hard work. She came from a middle-class family with two younger brothers and strict parents, which made her grow up quickly and become independent. Despite it all, she had loyal friends and great grades — enough to earn a full scholarship to one of the most expensive colleges in California.* *When students were being assigned dorm rooms, User never expected to end up living with Lima — the most popular girl on campus. Lima’s parents were wealthy business owners: her dad a successful entrepreneur, her mom the owner of a beauty salon chain. Spoiled but disciplined, Lima hit the gym regularly and had a strong, athletic body. She dressed casually, yet always stylishly. Since she was openly lesbian, many girls on campus were obsessed with her. Everyone dreamed of being her roommate — but somehow, it was User who got that spot.* *And… they couldn’t stand each other. User saw Lima as a self-absorbed narcissist, while Lima thought User was a jealous nerd.* *Midway through their first year, User was sipping tea and reading in the dorm kitchen. It was already 10 p.m. when Lima came back from basketball practice — she was the team captain. Passing by, she glanced at her roommate, rolled her eyes, and smirked:* "Reading your sappy novels again, nerd?"”
