The MRO facility will be built on 40 acres for maintenance, repair and overhauling of aircraft, with an estimated cost of ₹60 crore. The cargo terminal will be built on 30 acres at a cost of ₹2,000 crore, with an annual capacity of 255,000 metric tonnes. This is an important step in the development of the airport.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Noida International Airport as well as lay the foundation stone of the MRO (maintenance, repair and overhauling) facility. The creation of the MRO facility will enable development of aircraft maintenance, overhauling and repair capabilities at Noida International Airport. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal.

The first phase of Noida International Airport has been built over an area of ​​1,334 hectares. Under the agreement between the state government and developer Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, development of the MRO facility is a mandatory condition. The MRO facility is to be developed over an area of ​​40 acres.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay its foundation stone on Saturday. To facilitate the construction of the MRO, the developer company has entered into an agreement with Akasa Air. 'Code C' MRO facility will be available at Noida Airport. The Code C hangar will be equipped with eight different facilities.

The estimated cost of its construction is ₹60 crore. Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal. The facility has been built over an area of ​​30 acres at a cost of approximately ₹2,000 crore. It has an annual handling capacity of 255,000 metric tons. Provisions have also been made for its future expansion.
