Four Arrested With Heroin Worth Rs 3.5 Crore In Moga; Car Seized, Police Investigating Supply Network
Moga police arrested four accused with five hundred grams of heroin. The car was also confiscated. The supply network was revealed during interrogation, the police is now busy investigating the entire gang.
The accused were caught by the police.
Dialogue Associate, Moga. The police have achieved great success in the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking in Moga district of Punjab. Police recovered 500 grams of heroin and arrested four accused. The international value of this heroin is estimated to be around Rs 3.50 crore. During this action, a white colored car was also seized from the possession of the accused, which was being used for supplying drugs.
Anwar Ali, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Nihal Singh Wala police station area, said that this action was taken on the basis of secret information on March 26, 2026. At that time the team of the investigating agency was present in village Buttar Kalan. Meanwhile, information was received that some youth were sitting in a car and waiting for someone to supply drugs near Badhani Kalan canal.
As soon as the information was received, the police immediately took action and laid siege to the said place. After reaching the spot, the police arrested the three accused in the car. During the search, five hundred grams of heroin was recovered from the compartment inside the car.

Heroin had to be handed over in Moga.
The arrested accused have been identified as Balwinder Singh alias Bindu, Jobanpreet Singh alias Joban and another Balwinder Singh. During interrogation, the accused revealed that they were going to give this heroin to Moga resident Heera Singh.
Based on this information, the police took further action and arrested Heera Singh also. In this way, a total of four accused have been arrested in the case.

Shock to drug trafficking network
Police have registered a case against all four under the Anti-Drug Abuse Act. All the accused will be produced in the court and taken into police custody, so that detailed information can be obtained about their network, supply chain and other associates.
Police officials say that this action has dealt a major blow to the drug trafficking gang operating in the area. Besides, it is also being investigated from where this consignment of heroin was brought and at which places it was to be supplied.
