Trailer Collides With Police Vehicle In Mau, Three People Including Inspector Seriously Injured
A trailer hit a police vehicle in the Kopaganj police station area of Mau on Friday morning, due to which the vehicle went out of control and overturned in a pit. Three policemen including Inspector Rajkamal were seriously injured in this accident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. After the collision, the trailer driver fled from the spot, in search of whom the police is scanning CCTV footage and setting up blockades.

Jagran correspondent, Puraghat (Mau). During police patrolling near Adri Mod of Kopaganj police station area at around 3 am on Friday, a trailer hit the police vehicle heavily. Due to this, the vehicle went out of control and overturned into a pit on the roadside. Due to this, three policemen including the Inspector were injured. There was panic at the spot after the incident.
The injured include Sub-Inspector Rajkamal, Munshi Shoyab Ahmed and Constable Maheshwar Tiwari. Everyone was leaving by vehicle around 3 o'clock in the morning on Friday. Meanwhile, near Adri Mod, an uncontrolled trailer vehicle was hit hard from behind. The collision was so severe that the vehicle was completely damaged and the policemen traveling in it got trapped inside the vehicle.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and after much effort, the injured were taken out and admitted to Sharda Narayan Hospital located at the district headquarters. According to doctors, the condition of all three remains critical and their treatment is ongoing. According to eyewitnesses, the trailer was at high speed. Came from behind and directly hit the police vehicle.
After the accident, the driver fled from the spot with the trailer. Due to this the police are facing difficulty in his identification. The police have intensified the search for the absconding trailer driver and the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized. Also, the vehicle is being searched by blocking possible routes. SO Ravindra Nath Rai says that all the injured are being treated. Police have been deployed to catch the trailer. Soon the driver along with the trailer will be in custody.
