Railway IG Amiya Nandan Sinha inaugurated the new RPF police station and modern barracks at Ajgaivinath Dham Sultanganj station. Its objective is to provide better security to railway passengers and improved residential facilities to the soldiers. Appreciating the work of the soldiers, the IG directed that there should be no laxity in security, so that the safe travel of the passengers can be ensured.

With the aim of providing better security to railway passengers, Railway IG Amiya Nandan Sinha on Friday inaugurated the new RPF police station and RPF barrack equipped with modern facilities in the Ajgavinath Dham (Sultanganj) station premises by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, local scholars and pundits also chanted Vedic mantras.

The IG inspected the newly constructed barracks and described it as very useful for the soldiers. Many senior railway officials were also present with him. He said that everyone from RPF jawans to senior officers have done a commendable job in controlling the passengers during the rush hour. The IG said that this barrack has been built keeping in mind the needs of the soldiers at the western end of the station complex. Its objective is to provide them better residential facilities and to enable them to perform their responsibilities with energy, enthusiasm and vigor.

During the program, the IG also gave guidelines related to the security of railway property and passengers. He gave clear instructions to the officials that there should not be any laxity in the stations and trains and every aspect of security should be monitored.
