Anand Vihar-Purulia Train Service Starts From April 2: Passengers Of Jharkhand, Bihar And UP Will Get Big Relief.
Railways has announced new weekly express train 1402214021 between Anand Vihar Terminal and Purulia. This train will run from Anand Vihar from April 2 and from Purulia from April 4. This service will provide direct connectivity between Ranchi, Lucknow and Ayodhya, which will provide great relief to the passengers of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. There will be 22 coaches in it.
Jagran correspondent, Ranchi. After a long wait, Railways has announced to run a new weekly express train between Anand Vihar Terminal and Purulia in West Bengal. This train, operating as 14022/14021 Anand Vihar Terminal–Purulia Express, will run from Anand Vihar from April 2 (Thursday) and from Purulia from April 4 (Friday).
14022 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 5 am every Thursday and reach Purulia at 10:40 am the next day on Friday. In return, train number 14021 will depart from Purulia every Friday at 17:00 pm and reach Anand Vihar at 23:10 pm on Saturday night.

This train will have stops at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt, Varanasi, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Bhabhua Road, Sasaram, Dehri on Sone, Japla, Garhwa Road, Daltonganj, Barwadih, Latehar, Tori, Lohardaga, Ranchi and Muri.
This train will arrive at Ranchi station at around 07:20 am and depart at 07:30 am. This train will have a total of 22 coaches, which include air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches. This will provide convenience to passengers of every category.
Inauguration has already taken place
It is noteworthy that this train was inaugurated from Purulia on March 14. After the inauguration, the train reached Ranchi Railway Station, from where it was flagged off. Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth, Rajya Sabha member Mahua Maji and MLA CP Singh were present on this occasion.
Ranchi will get big benefit
With the commencement of this train, passengers of Ranchi and surrounding areas will get great benefits. The special thing is that now direct train service will be available from Ranchi to Lucknow and Ayodhya, which was not there earlier.
There was a demand for direct rail service for these two cities for a long time. Apart from this, connectivity between Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will be strong.
